RULES AND REGULATIONS

3) Area of Operation:                          Area of operation of the society will be confirmed within the State of Assam 

4) Aims & Objectives of the Association:

  1. ENVIRONMENT
  • One of our objectives is the adverse impact of solution on the eco system due to industrialization and population growth. The only way to control that situation is to plant nurture trees of Neem.
  • To promote environmental and ecological education and research in different fields. Also encourage others to planting Neem trees all the areas.
  • To educate people of different aspects of biodiversity, environment, wild lives, forest etc. and its benefits by holding meeting and organizing popular talks and science exhibitions etc.
  • To create a greener society by facilitating environmental awareness among the mass and work for environmental protection and activity do all for the preservation of eco-system, co-operate and co-ordinate with all the National and International agencies working in that direction.
  1. SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
  • To provide food and shelter and work for rehabilitation of victims natural calamities.
  • To organize workshop, seminars and training programs on social, culture, development and education related issues for student, teachers, community leaders, youth and women groups, social workers and others in collaboration with Govt. and Non Govt. organization.
  • To create employment avenues for the weaker section of the society, particularly those living below poverty level and thereby built a healthy rural economy as well as by enabling them to use their skills by undertaking income generation activities.
  1. HEALTH AND HYGIENE LIVING
  • To organize health camp, blood donation camp, malaria check-up camp, awareness camp etc. to provide health service to community in the remote areas.
  • To facilitate arrangement of pulse polio vaccination, medical check-up camp, awareness camp for drug abuse, alcoholism and HIV/AIDS.
  • To crate awareness on sanitation and safety alert from communicable disease, infectious disease epidemic disease, sex related disease etc. through organise medical camp and Consultation.
  1. WOMEN AND CHILDREN WELFARE
  • To promote recreation centre for development of children.
  • To promote help line center for deserted / destitute children.
  • To prevent the spread of child labour.
  • To protect, promote and publicizes the rights of women in the family and in the society by educating the masses and by causing the people to be vigilant against domestic violence and all kinds of physical and mental torture and harassment of women in our society.
  • To empower women with information and knowledge.
  • To organize various skill development programs for women.
    vii) To promote employment opportunity generation schemes for women.
  1. YOGA, MEDITATION & SPORTS
  • To create a centre of excellence for Martial Arts.
  • To organize different competition in rural areas by conducts Karate-Do, Boxing & other games for awareness of sports.
  • To promote and works for all round development of games and sports among the youth especially that of Indigenous games and sports.
  • To arrange various games and sports like cricket, football, badminton etc. In the area amongst the students and youth of the localities.
  • To create strong and powerful centre especially for girls / women so that they can defend themselves by their own.
 MEMBERSHIP
  1. a) Qualification to become Members:

Any person male or female must be free of corruption, educated; working for the interest of the society and who has attained 18 years shall be entitled to become a general member of the society.

  1. b) Subscription, Donation etc.:

Every members has to pay Rs. 1000/- as admission fees and Rs. 100/- as monthly subscription towards the society fund. The members however free to donate any amount any time to the fund of the organization. Donations from the members, private / public organizations and government agencies shall be accepted.

  1. c) Fund Collection:

The fund collection of the society will be collected from membership admission fees annual subscription of members and donations and contributions from well-wishers of the society including grants, financial and from the Central and State Government Organizations and others sources.

  1. d) Control Fund:

The fund of the society shall be spent of the activities of the society and shall be under the control and management of the executive committee. Even through the executive shall approve the expenditure from the fund of the society. The society will be open a Bank Accounts at any nationalized or Scheduled Bank and it will be operated by President and General Secretary’s joint Signatories.

 PROCEDURE OF GENERAL MEETING:

A general meeting shall be held at least one a year and if required, it may be held twice or more often as may approved by the president of the Society. The General Secretary as is approved by the president of the Society shall call such general meeting by giving at least seven prior notices.

QUORUM OF THE GENERAL MEETING:

Two third of the total members of the organization must be present in the general meeting to from the quorum of the general meeting.

ELECTION PROCEDURE OF THE EXECUTIVE / GOVERNING BODY / MANAGING COMMITTEE

The executive body and office bearers of the society shall be selected /elected by the General Body in the Annual General Meeting or in the extra ordinary body meeting and they will hold office till formations of the new executive body.

SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE EXECUTIVE BODY

Primarily the executive committee is consisting 10 (Ten) members, which includes one President, One Secretary, One Working President, One Asstt. Secretary, One Treasurer, and others five are executive members.

THE TERM OF THE EXECUTIVE BODY:

The term of the executive body shall be 3 (three) years. However, if required the executive body and the office bearers may continue for another six months till the new executive body takes charge. The general body may also prematurely appoint new executive body.

PROCEDURE FOR RE-ELECTION OF THE EXECUTIVE BODY:

When a vacancy of the membership of the executive body occurs, the President shall call for a General meeting and elect one member to fill up the vacancy. In case of death, or resignation of the president, the general secretary or the next of office of the vacant post a period of one month only and there after this should regularized, or elect a new President by the General Meeting. The president can be removed, dismissed, or warned by the General Meeting if he is involved in corrupt practices which are harmful not to the organization, but to the centre association at large. In such case an emergent meeting may be called by two third majorities of enlisted members to take appropriate action against the president.

PROCEDURE OF THE MEETING OF THE EXECUTIVE BODY:

The executive body will be held at least once in every two months or so far smooth functioning and management of the association.

QUORUM OF THE MEETING OF THE EXECUTIVE:

At least two third members of the executive body are required to be present to form quorum of the meeting of the executive body.

EXPULSION OF UNDESIRABLE MEMBERS:

If any members who goes against the Rules and Regulation of the Society and or works against the interest of the society may be expelled from the society.

AUDITOR:

A qualified Auditor will be appointed by the Executive Committee for a term of one year, who shall audit the accounts of the Society at least in a year and Annual Audit Report will be submitted to the Registrar of Societies Regularly.

LEGAL PROCEDURE

According to the provide laid down in section 6 of the Societies Regarding act 1860, the organization may sue or may sued in the name of the President or General Secretary of the organization.

DISSOLUTION

If necessary the organisation may dissolve the repartees remain after dissolve the repartees remain after dissolution may be handed over according to the provisions laid down in section 13 and 14 of the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 certified to be a true copy the Rules and Registrations of the KAMARGAON COLLEGE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
