Kamargaon College has various cells like women cell and Anti Sexual Harassment cell which promote gender equity through awareness programmes inside and outside the campus. The college has a green and clean campus and emphasises on use of alternate energy sources. The college maintains its policies in managing and disposing degradable and non-degradable waste materials and have promoted e-rickshaw and cycles. Besides these, the institution through various cells/committees/clubs have undertaken plantation and cleanliness drives at nearby schools, adopted village and Kamargaon locality for a green and sustainable future. Efforts have been made to make the campus differently abled friendly. The institution fosters tolerance, regional, communal and linguistic harmony for a shared future and mutual understanding. The institution has outreached nearby villages and schools in an extensive manner and promoted environmental protection through plantation, street play, awareness programme and so on. The institution has promoted sports as a distinctive area and students are encouraged and sent to participate in various competitions.
